We adore the uplifting spirit of spring: it heralds in the end of winter and the joys of the sun and sea, plus the freedom of wanderlust that comes with summer. And so it’s ultra fitting that this spring/summer season, French lingerie collections are paying homage to that seasonal lightness of being: floral and playful patterns, light pastels that reflect the radiant hues of nature, and a minimalist, less-is-more spirit defines the trend. Aubade sums it up for all in evoking the “uncomplicated nature” that conjures up “feelings of euphoria. A joyful desire for idealized dreams and extraordinary journeys, reflected in radiant feminity.”

Eurovet also feted this energy, identifying four key trends this spring/summer that they summed up according: Be Design, Be Creative, Be One and Be Luminous. Be Design evokes lightness and softness, with beachwear and lingerie collections that highlight the feminine form and reinvent comfort. Be Creative awakens our creativity with lingerie rich in refined artisanal details. Be One embraces avant-garde collections that break the rules in the spirit of femininity and eclecticism. And Be Luminous exalts collections laminated with metallic and color palettes of copper, gold and pewter inspired by interiors and everyday objects.
