Promincor-Lingerie Française is a non-profit association founded in 1960, which brings together the nine most iconic French brands (ANTIGEL, AUBADE, CHANTELLE, CHANTELLE X, EMPREINTE, LISE CHARMEL, LOUISA BRACQ, MAISON LEJABY, and SIMONE PÉRÈLE), with a shared ambition: to showcase the craftsmanship, creativity, and elegance of French lingerie, both at home and around the world.
Rooted in a tradition of excellence, the association preserves a unique heritage, uniting textile innovation, expert tailoring, artisanal rigor, and attention to detail. It promotes a French art de vivre, where lingerie embodies femininity, freedom, comfort, and self-confidence. It highlights the excellence of the corsetry craft, its original designs, and its meticulous craftsmanship, which have earned France its reputation as a leader ever since the first bra design patented in Paris in 1889.
Lingerie Française offers a committed and demanding vision of lingerie. It celebrates self-confidence by creating pieces designed for today’s women—free, diverse, and assertive. It champions the Ultimate Fit, meeting the expectations of all women and suiting every body type, age, and stage of life. Advocating responsible fashion, the association promotes lingerie that is ethical, sustainable, and eco-friendly—respectful of both women and the planet (CSR strategies, bio-based materials, circular economy, product durability, and dedication to meaningful causes). Finally, it embodies the excellence of French high fashion, with unique expertise, combining precision, innovation, and absolute comfort in lingerie designed for all women, from A to H cups.

Strong initiatives throughout the year
Throughout the year, Promincor – Lingerie Française promotes and showcases French lingerie with the support of DEFI*, the French Committee for the Promotion and Development of the Apparel Industry. The association hosts major international events (exhibitions, fashion shows, pop-ups, workshops, etc.) at prestigious venues, introducing its brands’ collections to a worldwide audience.
It also works to highlight craftsmanship through educational campaigns, cultural partnerships, and the creation of editorial content.
Firmly focused on the future, Promincor – Lingerie Française stands alongside its brands to support their ecological transition and help them pass on their skills and expertise to new generations.
* DEFI is a platform created in 1984 to support the development and transformation of French fashion and apparel companies. It funds, leads, and supports concrete initiatives to promote business growth and industry development, foster the emergence of responsible fashion, stimulate digital and technological innovation, advance French manufacturing and craftsmanship, and enhance France’s global image in this sector. In collaboration with other trade federations, DEFI fosters unique solidarity between small and large companies and serves as a strategic forum for discussing key transversal issues affecting the industry both domestically and abroad.
Governance
Lingerie Française is a non-profit association (under the french 1901 law), founded in 1960.
It is governed by a Management Board elected every two years by its members.

These brands share core values and a common heritage rooted in the time-honored craft of corsetry.
