Lou’s summer collection is the very best kind of summer fling
It started with romance, as does any good French story. Entrepreneur André Faller fell in love with young gymnast Lucienne Scheltien while traveling on the Orient Express in 1946. Falling in love on a train?! How original! Passionate about sewing and probably prompted by years of scarcity during the war when one certainly had to learn to DIY, young Lucienne started making her own lingerie. Lou (Lucienne) lingerie was born.
Lou’s summer collection is the very best kind of summer fling. The kind that makes your skin tremble at first eye contact, that makes you yearn at night, lying there on cool linen sheets, restless.
It is therefore no surprise that it was presented to us behind what we can only imagine are wood shutters in a house in Provence on a scorching summer day. This collection is best worn then, when the cicadas are still singing and our skin is still searing from the sun, sand and salt.
The Belle Illusion and its surprising graphic pattern bring refinement to life on the daily. A good brassiere is a summer must-have, bringing support and comfort both - particularly in such a delicious coral color. The see-through lace panties are a non-negotiable.
